Matters of Grace

So gentle, so kind, so loving, so real
is the grace of our God I often conceal.
Just why I conceal it's a mystery to me,
when I should allow His grace to run free.

Perhaps it's selfishness or perhaps pride
or maybe some fear that I harbor inside?
Whatever the case, I want that to change,
sharing His grace, no matter how strange.

O' Lord, help me grow in matters of grace,
drawing closer to You in this sacred space.
Give me the courage to share love with all.
Jesus be Lord over things great and small.

Let all the world

Let all the world be nothing,
with its vanities and strife,
our hearts not be too trusting
in this mortal, earthly life.

Let the pleasures of mankind
be held in great disdain,
for we should not seek to find
some solace in its gain.

But let our eyes be focused
on Christ, the King of Kings.
Let all the world be nothing,
and let God be all things.
