How can You forgive me,
when I can't forgive myself?
For a sinner such as I should
be put back on the shelf.
Or better yet be cast aside
for my rebellious way.
Yet still I plead for mercy,
please pardon me I pray.
Though I am not deserving,
God, cleanse me of my sin..
Renew me by Your Spirit
and heal me once again.
